A.J. Allmendigner to.....
First off, let me start by saying this: I'm happy A.J. is doing great, I'm happy A.J. still has a shot at racing and I hope to see him back at the top of NASCAR soon. That being said, some NASCAR news media are starting to report that A.J. MIGHT be going back to open wheel racing and that Roger Penske would love to have him in one of his cars. Would this be good for A.J. ? Of course it would be, A.J. deserves to be in a great car with a great team, no matter the racing series but personally I would rather see him back in the Cup series.
Why? Simply because he was doing so well AND I'd love for him to come back and have an " in your face" moment! He is an extremely talletented driver and has made a name for himself in NASCAR, why even consider going back to open wheel ?
I'm sure Roger Penske wants to keep A.J. and it would be great if he could put him in a third Penske Ford for 2013, imagine a team with Keselowski, Logano and Allmendigner, talk about young guns...These three could set NASCAR ablaze with action. Let's hope NASCAR will lift their ban on A.J. and let him come back to the Cup series, he has worked very hard these last couple of months and in my personal opinion deserves a top notch ride again.
NASCAR, hurry up, let A.J. come back to NASCAR racing before you lose a great driver and a great person. He has paid his dues and is ready to race!
P.S. On a personal note, I hope Richard Childress can pick him up, A.J. would fit right in over there !
